Our Story

The Founding of Lexonic.

Lexonic was founded by a passionate educator who became determined to find a better way to improve reading outcomes for struggling students.

Lexonic was founded by a dyslexia specialist who became determined to find a more effective way to improve reading outcomes for struggling students. Our journey officially began in 2011, built on this foundation of research and innovation. Early experiences revealed that traditional methods fell short, prompting the development of a new approach that prioritized vocabulary development alongside decoding skills. Through rigorous action research, including control and experimental studies, the programme showed exceptional results, with students achieving average reading gains of 27 months in just six hours of tuition. These findings were independently validated, cementing Lexonic as a proven, effective literacy programme.

Since its launch, Lexonic has grown from a promising idea into a transformative solution used by schools worldwide. Backed by over 90,000 data points and countless success stories, Lexonic’s mission is to empower learners to reach their full potential, wherever literacy support is needed.
